The cambelt, sometimes known as the timing belt, allows vital components of your vehicle to work together. Over time the cambelt can wear down through regular use, and if it isn’t replaced at the recommended intervals, can eventually snap causing potentially very expensive damage to your vehicle.

At LVS Garage Services in Livingston, we recommend that you have your cambelt checked every 40,000 to 60,000 miles so that we can identify if there’s substantial wear and if so, replace the cambelt to ensure you avoid serious issues and to keep you safe on the road.
